about the one that got away. |
Our Sixth Annual meeting was held at Throop
Memorial Church, Pasadena, CA from February 15 through February
17, 2008. A new slate of Steering Committee
was elected. A by-law change was adopted to allow future proxy
voting for those who are unable to attend any meeting where voting
takes place.
More than 36 A/PI UUs and their allies from around
the country attended. The weather was remarkably cooperative, the
hospitality was exemplary and the programming was excellent.
Dr. Rama Kaye Hart led us through a visioning process using
the Appreciative
Inquiry (AI) technique. The work was intensive and productive.
We incorporated fun, food and fellowship into this memorable weekend.
